Failure finding qualifying track? Why?
Jack:
I have had this happen on a couple occasions trying out the software. There was a show in iTunes playlist that was exactly 28 minutes in length, which should qualify within my settings to choose track between 27 & 29 mins. It was the only show in this playlist & the show before it was right on schedule however ended about 50 seconds past the start time of THIS show and all the ID's added up to total of 1:30. I find that never usually matters at all if the show ends up being a little long.... the shows still schedule. Any idea why it would say this track did not qualify for scheduling? And it was a fresh 28:00 file that had not aired before... Thanx for any help or insight into this. Other than this, which is a big concern, things seem to run smooth. I have pasted this schedule here for reference. Hope it is something I am overlooking.
Thank You,
Jack.

Lane:
:50 + 1:30 + 28:00 = 30:20, which is past your maximum of 29 minutes.
Jay Lichtenauer:
The segment before this was already entering into your current segment by 54 seconds, 10:00:54. With your mandatory first picks (lines 1-3), that took you further to 10:01:26. You can't fit a 28 minute file between 10:01:26 and 10:29:00. You only have room for a 27m34s file.
Perhaps you need to get better control of the time in the previous segment so it isn't allowed to invade this one.
Jack:
Right ok, I need to set up better for prior schedule, and I c it's the longer audio files that were confusing me on the time a little, as fill has a little easier time (leeway) with shorter files (songs). I will look closer at scheduling... Thanks.
Jack:
One other thing about this though... with prev segment going OVER by say 1 minute, then say an ad in there, then the show that DOES NOT qualify, so far that ads up to less than the 30 mins, but AFTER the show are 4 spots (ads)... Is it because those ads are mandatory that the show will not qualify because the time will go over? I mean, it will never just not play a few of the commercial ad spots instead to have the 28 minute show file play right? I mean, I guess it would have worked if that was the case, but just want to verify... it will never NOT air the commercial ads to get the show in, correct? And with that then, I suspect in this case I need to remove playing a couple/few of the commercial ads to make sure this show would qualify?? Hope I make sense... Thanx again... and for the quick responses.
