Failure finding qualifying track? Why?

In the situation you describe, I think it will always air the ads.

I think there could be a problem if you ran extremely over time, and had an item set with a maximum where the time on the schedule clock was well past that. I think it might skip the items up to and including that. There is also a situation where you could program more spots than you have spots allocated, and there is an option to play those overruns or not.

I always make sure I have some wiggle room in a schedule, where I play a song or something at the end that can be adjusted for the time available. This might mean an actual song, or it could be a show closer instrumental that is exactly the same for each show. You can then have an interrupt that will end it at a specific time.  In your case, I might not use the min/max on that show if you want it to play, and you know they're all approximately the same length. I find min/max more useful on the fluid things, like filler music at the end etc.

oh, that may help, not specifying min/max because the file it plays is always 28 min's. I will try that, but I def need to look at the seg's still airing prior, especially to see why they run over...
