Radiologik - Accessible Radio DJ'ing and Automation is available from macinmind.com
Hello everyone, I am a new user Radiologik!
But I have a problem, the iTunes library is located on an external hard drive (in the future will be in the time capsule) and Radiologik not find the file, I tried
LibraryPathReplace =/localhost/Users/djkit /Volumes/ Element/Music but nothing changes.
You can solve?
Thank you and sorry for bad English
Dario
You have a space between /Volumes/ and Element/Music. maybe that's the problem. Try removing that space.
Ops! The translator had added the space in the post, unfortunately is not that the problem.
Creed to mistake the path of the bookcases.
We try so:
Track in the bookcase standard of the mac: /Users/djkit/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Music/Aaliyah/Ultimate
Track in the hard disk usb: /Volumes/Elements/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/Music/Aaliyah/Ultimate
How I have to set the LibraryPathReplace?
Thanks!
I recommend you try:
LibraryPathReplace=/localhost/Users/djkit /Volumes/Elements
Nothing to make, continues to see the library standard: (
DJ and scheduler look here for the XML file: ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music Library.xml
As of DJ 1.6.8 and Scheduler 1.3.6 it will also accept: ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Library.xml
If your XML file is elsewhere, make sure an alias at this location points to the true location. The LibraryPathReplace is only useful if a different computer gives different relative paths the the XML file, in other words, that XML file is maintained by a different computer running iTunes.
In the library in the hard disk usb alone are the rows iTunes Library.xml, are normal?
Thanks
What Radiologik DJ is looking for is in your home folder. That's what's meant by ~/
So in your home folder, in the Music Folder, in the iTunes folder, Radiologik is looking for the file callled "iTune Music Library.xml". If it cannot find that, you will not be able to see playlists nor import into the Library using the Library import button.
To remedy this. make an alias of the working xml file, be it called "iTunes Library.xml" or "iTunes Music Library.xml" Put that alias in ~/Music/iTunes/
Make sure that alias is named "iTunes Music Library.xml".
Now I have copied the rows on the mac, as soon as the timecapsule arrives me tries!
Thank you very much!
As of DJ (1.6.9) and Scheduler (1.3.7), Radiologik now reads the iTunes preferences to determine the location of the xml file. If it can't do that, it reverts to the old way.
Perfect, with the new one update it works all to wonder. I have only noticed a block sometimes during intro with the Time capsule connected with wireless, with the lan no problem
